Boy, am I going to get into trouble over this.
The Budweiser Super Bowl ad which chronicled Adolphus Busch’s perilous journey to St. Louis, where he met Ebhvard Aneheuser and started brewing a beer (hey, it’s why he wanted to leave Germany) has apparently sparked a boycott of the King of Beers over the ad’s veiled criticism of the anti-immigration argument.
One person involved in this boycott contends that he will not drink a beer which runs Super Bowl ads attacking Americans who want to stop illegal immigration and keep us safe. So here is my question: How is an ad chronicling Adolphus Busch’s perilous journey to 1870s .Louis and his first meeting with Aneheuser making us less sfe?
For the record, I don’t drink beer.
